WHAT'S NEW SINCE YOU LAST PLAYED...
TERRAIN AND GRAPHIC UPDATES- The game world has undergone a startling change with the replacement of all trees and foliage with highly detailed, animated 3D objects pushing the graphical boundaries of MMOGs with more than 4 million trees populating the world. Line of sight and concealment have changed so dramatically that there is no way to accurately articulate how new and exciting the game feels. Also added are all-new high resolution ground textures adding a greater sense of immersion for ground troops and naval operations.
VISIBLE DAMAGE-
The new visible damage system has been introduced starting with ground vehicles and multi-engine aircraft. Aircraft loose parts and catch fire. Tracks and wheels are shed from ground vehicles. Tank turrets explode into the air and many other visible damage effects can now be seen. These are more than awesome effects and are tied closely with our physics and damage models.
INFANTRY FEATURES- Advancements on our ground troops has continued with the addition of weapons such as light machine guns and rifle grenades. New animations like lean and combat emotes have been added and commanders can now walk the battlefield with officer models for easier identification. Many other changes to the models have been made, making for better infantry play. TACTICAL PLAYER COMMANDS- A new suite of tactical commands which are a prelude to the new deployment system is making its way into the game. Player commanders can now evoke"Over-Run" used when enemy forces are laying siege to an army base and commanders wish to alert other players to the aggression. Once an army base has been identified as "Over-Run" further commands such as "Hold-All-Costs" or "Fallback" can be issued. These effect the levels of troops and equipment available at the identified army base giving more control of assets to players in combat. |
